At the recent Microsoft event, Microsoft announced their new and advanced version of Windows. Windows 10 was supposed to be the final release of Windows but recently on their official website we got to see the official end date of Windows 10. This means that we are getting a new version of Windows soon.
Microsoft claims that their new version of Windows brings you close to the people and things you love. Windows 11 also provides a clean, calm, and creative space where you can pursue your passions through a fresh experience.
Microsoft decides to drop the live tiles on the start menu and use simple, clean, and elegant icons for their start menu. It was hugely inspired by the MacOS and ChromeOS. We also can see rounded corners on the application windows.
We also see a new feature called Snap Layout which allows users to quickly snap the application windows to any part of the screen. Windows 11 also remembers where the applications were stored, this feature is called ‘Snap Group’. This mostly helps when you have multiple monitors connected to your Windows 11 laptop.
There is also a huge performance difference in Windows 11. We will get to see Windows security updates frequently and the size of the updates is 40 percent smaller compared to the huge update that we used to get in previous Windows versions. This feature will make sure that you don’t get disturbed during your work.
Finally, one of the best features that we are going to get in Windows 11 is android apps running on Windows PC/Laptop. The Microsoft Store is upgraded and will uphold an entire host of applications that haven’t commonly been accessible in the Windows application store. That incorporates applications from Adobe Inventive Suite and Android applications including TikTok and Instagram.
Windows 11 does not yet have a release date, but Microsoft has stated that it would be available as a free update to Windows 10 users this holiday season. We anticipate the release of Windows 11 in October, along with new hardware that supports the operating system.
